Rochester, N.Y.—The Small Business Council announced its “Business Person of the Year” award Wednesday.

Thomas Bonadio, Managing Partner of the Bonadio Group, won this year’s award ceremony, held at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

Seven finalists were up for the award, one of the most prestigious awards that can be given to a member of Rochester’s business community.

Other finalists were Laurie Broccolo, president of Broccolo Tree and Lawn Care; Mark Perlo, president and CEO of Xerographic Solutions; Mark E. Davitt, president and CEO of ConServe; William Pollack, president and CEO of Optimation Technology, Inc; David J. Beinetti, president and CEO of SWBR Architects and Engineers; and Jeff Valentine, president and CEO of Callfinity, Inc.

This is the 25^th year the Small Business Council has hosted the gala luncheon.
